Dawn Marie Kresan

Dawn Marie Kresan is a writer, freelance graphic designer, and a poetry editor at Palimpsest Press. She received her B.A. and M.A. in English Literature and cultural studies from the University of Windsor, received training in bookbinding from the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild, learned letterpress from Hollander’s School of Book and Paper Arts, and has an advanced certificate in graphic design with a print concentration through Sessions College for Professional Design. She is proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Her books include the limited edition chapbook
Framed (2009), and the full-length poetry collection Muse (Tightrope Books 2013). She also co-edited, with Susan Holbrook, Detours: an anthology of poets from Windsor & Essex County (Palimpsest Press 2013). Forthcoming are the anthology Canadian Ginger (Oolichan Press 2017) and the nonfiction work Derelict (Biblioasis 2018).
